VALE Richard Klynton Kitto

The Norwood Football Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former player Richard Klynton Kitto on 21 August 2024 aged 86 years.

Klynton was recruited by Norwood in 1957 from Arthurton in the Yorke Valley Football Association and made his league debut in 1960 when he played four games.

A talented all-round sportsman, he was also a fine cricketer and athlete. In 1961 he represented SA Country against the touring West Indies team, which included cricketing great Garfield Sobers.

The club would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the Kitto family.
