Vale Ray Jarrett

THE Norwood Football Club is saddened by the passing of former Property Steward and life member, Ray ‘Bandit’ Jarrett.

Starting his involvement with the club in the early eighties, he was involved on match day, training, in the Redlegs Club and medical room.

Jarrett worked alongside fellow property steward Bob ‘Smokey’ Dawson, and the two forged a close relationship over several years at The Parade.

Ray Jarrett, together with his late wife Colleen have been ornaments of the Norwood Football Club, who have contributed in several ways through setting up functions, providing meals or just being there to assist in any way possible.

Jarrett was awarded life membership in 2007 after several years of fantastic service to the football club.

The true fabric of the Norwood Football Club is what Ray Jarrett epitomised and we are deeply saddened by his passing.

Our condolences are with the Jarrett family throughout this tough time.
