Welcome to Norwood Candice Belbin

The Norwood Football Club welcomes Candice Belbin to its SANFLW program.

Belbin heads to The Parade from Tasmania where she Captained the Tasmania Devils in the Coates Talent League this season, while also representing the Allies in the AFLW U18 Championships.

Norwood SANFLW Coach Brad Ferrall was excited to welcome the 19-year-old midfielder to the group.

“Candice is an inside mid who is strong in the contest and very clean below her knees,” Ferrall said.

“Her ability to get the ball on the inside and work to the outside is exciting.

“She’s a high quality person and has leadership qualities after being the captain of the Tasmanian Coates Talent Shield team.

“She will be a great addition to the group.”

Belbin is the third signing announced for Norwood’s SANFLW side this season, with Mykaela Walker and Emma Daley also making the transition to the Redlegs.
