Welcome to Norwood, Kade Dittmar

The Norwood Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Kade Dittmar, who will be joining the Redlegs for season 2026.

Originally from South Australia, Dittmar played the majority of his football with WAFL club East Perth, before returning to Adelaide to play the last two seasons with Central District.

Dittmar heads to the Redlegs following 37 League matches for the Bulldogs, and 33 WAFL matches for the Royals.

The 22-year-old is a tough inside midfielder, but knows how to hit the scoreboard, kicking 13 goals from 19 games this season, whilst averaging 17 disposals, five tackles and four clearances to finish third in Centrals’ Best and Fairest.

Dittmar said he was excited to continue his football at The Parade.

“It was a tough decision, but I’m very excited,” he said.

“I’m hoping that this is the place that I can take my game to the next level.

“I can’t wait to play alongside the likes of Billy Cootee, Nik Rokahr and Baynen Lowe who are all very talented, and also Finn Heard who has turned into a star.”

Norwood General Manager of Football Daniel Menzel welcomed Dittmar to the club.

“We are stoked to have Kade on board, he’s a huge addition for us,” Menzel said.

“He compliments our midfield group that we have. Kade has a great balance of inside and outside ability, which does strengthen our midfield so we are excited that he’s chosen to play his footy at Norwood moving forward.

“Being 22, he fits our demographic with a lot of players around that same age, so we hope they can play together at the Norwood for a long time.”
