Norwood has turned for home with an even 2-2 win-loss record in the 2025 SANFL Wheelchair Football League season, which this Friday night reaches the half-way mark.
The Redlegs have had some highs and lows to start their campaign, with a strong win over the reigning premier Eagles in Round 1, and a colossal 150-point victory against competition newcomers West Adelaide in Round 3.
But, Norwood will also be disappointed with losses to Central District in Round 2, and last Friday’s Round 4 defeat at the hands of Woodville-West Torrens.
In Round 1, Norwood defeated the Eagles by 39 points in a win that the Redlegs would have bagged regardless of the result with Woodville-West Torrens having to forfeit based on on-court points.
Therefore, Norwood was keen to put its best performance forward in Round 4 with both sides at full strength.
Unfortunately for the Redlegs, they were outplayed by the reigning premiers in a 18.6-114 to 7.3-45 loss.
The Redlegs will be desperate to bounce back this Friday night when they take on Central District at The Lights Community and Sports Centre (7.55pm start).
The Bulldogs are second on the ladder with a 3-1 record, and Norwood third going into Round 5.
