Two Redlegs in The Advertiser 2025 SANFL Team of the Year

Norwood’s Pierce Seymour and Billy Cootee have been named in The Advertiser’s 2025 SANFL Team of the Year.

Cootee and Seymour rounded out their excellent 2025 campaigns with their first selections in the Team of the Year.

Cootee in his second season in the SANFL played all 18 matches for Norwood in 2025, averaged 22 disposals and five clearances.

He was named on the Wing, while Seymour was named in the Back Pocket.

Seymour was outstanding for Norwood in 2025, also playing all 18 matches, averaging 17 disposals and seven marks as an intercept defender.

Seymour – who plays SANFL match 99 this Sunday – showed his ability to play at both ends of the ground when needed, kicking seven goals this season.
