Norwood secure Round 1 win over Eagles

Norwood got its SANFL Wheelchair Football League season off to a dream start, defeating Woodville-West Torrens by 37 points at The Lights Community & Sports Centre. 

The Redlegs and Eagles have had many great battles over recent seasons, including the last two Grand Finals, but too often Woodville-West Torrens have been too strong.

On this occasion, Norwood got the game played on its terms, and its star players took control, in what turned out to be a comfortable 11.9-75 to 6.2-38 win.

Norwood take on West Adelaide at The Lights C&S centre this Friday night in the early start of 6:15pm. 

The Bloods went down to Central District in Round 1, 17.6-108 to 6.2-38.
