NORWOOD could recall consistent defender Mitch Wilkins for Sunday’s First Semi-Final with Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
Wilkins missed the Redlegs’ spirited 14-point win against the Double Blues, however, is set to return providing he gets through training this week.
The 24-year old played every match for Norwood during the minor rounds, however, a back issue forced him out of last Sunday’s clash.
Ruckman Sam Baulderstone copped a knock to the knee in the first term against the Double Blues, however, Coach Jarrod Cotton is adamant his star ruckman will be fine to face the Crows.
Cody Szust could be another choice if Cotton opts for another forward. Szust has gathered some consistent form in the Reserves and could possibly come into the side to assist in the front third.
Upcoming ruckman Henry Crauford will return to football this week after missing the Reserves win over the Bloods a fortnight ago.
Crauford has fully recovered from a back complaint is will most likely line up in the Reserves Second Semi-Final against the Double Blues.
In some bad news, Norwood FC has ruled out Cameron Taheny for the remainder of the 2019 Season, after sustaining a quad injury at training last week.
Norwood will face Adelaide in the First Elimination Final on Sunday afternoon at 12:15 pm.
