NORWOOD could unveil another four debutants in Round Two with Georgie Avery, Kirsten Mosey, Chloe Samuel and Chloe Meyers named in the side’s extended squad of 25.
The following youngsters join experienced midfielders Rebekka McMahon and Alannah Rochow as the six additions to the squad ahead of Norwood’s clash with Woodville West Torrens at Richmond Oval tomorrow night.
McMahon, after sustaining a leg injury in Round One of 2019 is in line to play her first competitive game of the year, while Alannah Rochow who missed the whole 2019 season has been named in the starting squad of 18.
Coach Chris Howie has also named defender/ruck Georgie Avery, utility Kirsten Mosey and defender Chloe Meyers as part of the squad after the injury of senior personnel.
Tough midfielder Elisha Gallagher, defender Michele Reid and forward Kate Fenton have all been ruled out after sustaining injuries against Central District, while Ella Murison has been omitted from the squad.
After falling to the Dogs last weekend, the Redlegs will look to record their first win of 2019 against the Eagles who will be up for the fight after falling to reigning Premiers South Adelaide by five-points.
The game will be broadcast live on SANFL Digital Pass from 7.45pm.
