Norwood’s Easter Weekend of football kicks off at Coopers Stadium tonight when the Redlegs take on Sturt in a Round 2 SANFL clash.

The SANFL game will kick off at 7:40pm, and the Reserves from 5pm.

Norwood’s SANFLW sides take on Glenelg at the Bay on Good Friday, with the SANFLW game starting at 2:20pm, and the Development League game at 12:20pm.

The SANFLW team will be hoping to make it four straight wins and continue its run towards a finals berth.

The Redlegs Development League team has been dominant in 2023 and has already qualified for the Grand Final on April 22, despite there being one minor round game to go (tomorrow against the Tigers).

The Development League team welcomes back SANFLW Leadership Group member Stephanie Simmonds from injury, while the SANFLW team has some strong inclusions with Ebony O’Dea, Georgie Jaques and Charlotte Nenke coming back into the team.

Jaques was earlier this week selected by Port Adelaide in the AFLW Supplementary Draft.

Norwood’s U18 and U16 teams will also play on Good Friday, taking on Sturt in Unley (U18 12.15pm, U16 10am).
