NORWOOD has made two changes for tomorrow night’s clash with South Adelaide at Flinders University Stadium.
After falling to West Adelaide in Round one last week, Coach Mat Creeper has made two changes to his side.
Tough midfielder Mattea Breed has been named in the side after missing last weekend’s clash.
Breed was a solid performer for Norwood in 2020 playing 11 SANFL games kicking five goals. Her tackle pressure and ability to win contested ball is a real strength and will complement the side tomorrow evening.
Norwood will also unveil speedster Lana Schwerdt for the first time in Season 2021.
The daughter of Stephen and brother of senior squad member Ethan, Lana has been included in the 22 to face the Panthers after missing out on selection last week.
Schwerdt will no doubt inject pace into Norwood’s forward 50 and has the physical attributes to match any opponent.
Making way for Norwood is Kassandra Stroh and forward Lindsay Bigg who have both been omitted.
Norwood’s clash with the Panthers begins at 6:30pm tomorrow night at Flinders University Stadium.
Entry is free. If you can’t make the game stream it live on the SANFL Digital Pass.
