Norwood name squad ahead of first trip to Adelaide Oval

NORWOOD for the first time ever will face Woodville West Torrens at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.

In what will be a league first that all women’s games will be showcased back-to-back at Adelaide Oval, the Redlegs will look to put their best foot forward to record their fifth win in a row.

Despite winning last weekend against the Bays, Coach Mat Creeper has made three forced changes with talented duo Jade Halfpenny and Alana Lishmund returning from state commitments.

Norwood also regains forward Elizabeth Drake who has recovered from a quad injury sustained in the win against North Adelaide a fortnight ago.

Speedster Isabel Martin will also return to the lineup after missing the past three games with a toe injury. Martin will no doubt add some dash which will complement the wide deck at Adelaide Oval.

Tesharna Maher will not feature against the Eagles due to personal reasons, while Georgia Avery, Cammie Williams and Adrienne Davies have all been omitted.

The Redlegs clash with the Eagles begins at 2:00pm with the game streamed live on the SANFL Digital Pass.
