AFTER a fantastic victory against league leaders South Adelaide on Friday night, another positive came from the match for Norwood as there were no fresh injury concerns.
As the Redlegs now look ahead to its meeting with Centrals on Saturday afternoon, the club has provided an update on some key players and their recovery.
Running defender, Emmanuel Irra is slowly building up his training loads after suffering a hamstring injury a fortnight ago.
Irra will ramp up his running over the next two weeks with the bye coming at a good time to be in the selection frame for Norwood’s Round seven clash with Adelaide.
Youngster Cooper Murley is slowly recovering from an ankle injury sustained during a training session with the Crows and is listed as 4–5-week proposition, while defender Brad Ficken is building in his rehab to start running after knee injury.
Matthew Panos is recovering well from his ACL injury, while young ruckman Ned Carey is slowly building his running with a view to returning to training in a couple of weeks.
