NORWOOD is set to regain state duo in Sachi Syme, Lana Schwerdt and Molly Brooksby for Saturday’s crucial clash with Sturt at Wigan Oval.
Coming off an important 22-point win against West Adelaide, the Redlegs will look to record back-to-back wins to keep hold of their spot in the top four.
Standing in their way is the second place Sturt who defeated Norwood back in round six by 51-points.
The Redlegs will gain a host of stars for this weekend’s clash including Stephanie Simmonds and experienced defender, Cassandra Tsoumbris.
Syme, Schwerdt and Brooksby featured in all three of the Under 18 State Teams victories and will now look to put their best foot forward for Norwood this weekend.
There are five confirmed omissions which include, Nicola Burns, Isabel Martin, Natasha Allison, Coby Morgan and Jazmine Egan.
After celebrating Ashlee Gould’s 50th SANFL game last weekend, the Redlegs will have another milestone to look forward to, with dual Best and Fairest Winner Sophie Armitstead set to play her 50th SANFL match.
The Redlegs face the Double Blues from Wigan Oval at 12:50 pm and can be streamed via SANFL Now.
