AFL U18 National Championships kick off this Sunday

Norwood’s Ned Bowman, Jacob Newton and Alex van Wyk suited up in the red, yellow and blue for the annual SA U18 V SA U20 match on Sunday.

U18s Newton and Bowman both kicked goals and were named in the best players for the victorious U18 side (15.4-94 to 9.13-67).

Redlegs ruckman van Wyk played in the U20s.

SA host the Allies this Sunday in Round 1 of the 2024 AFL Nation U18 Championships at Thebarton Oval, see the squad below.
