NORWOOD could welcome back speedy midfielder Matthew Nunn ahead of its Round Four clash with Port Adelaide on Friday night.
Nunn is primed to return after overcoming a virus in Round two against Centrals. Nunn could be a like for like replacement for dual Magarey Medallist Mitch Grigg who will serve a one match ban.
Inspirational Captain Jace Bode is training well, however won’t face Port on Thursday. Bode is training well and should be available to play in the Grand Final rematch next Thursday.
Tall forward Brady Dawe is also on the mend after missing last weeks match with the Double Blues. Dawe suffered a hip injury and is listed as a test to face Port on Thursday night.
Cameron Taheny and Brodie Carroll both impressed in Norwood’s Reserves Round 3 win over Double Blues on Friday night. Taheny led the charge in that game with 24 disposals, seven tackles and a goal, while Carroll was influential down back, collecting 8 marks along with his 20 touches.
Norwood could add some tall timber if Brady Dawe doesn’t get up for Thursdays match. Josh Miller kicked two goals on return, while Henry Crauford was good in the ruck amassing 34 hitouts, 11 disposals and a goal.
The Redlegs will announce its Round 4 side to take on Port Adelaide on Wednesday evening.
