A 24-player squad has been named for the SANFLW’s clash with WAFLW in Perth this Saturday.

All eight SANFLW teams are represented, with South Adelaide and Woodville-West Torrens having the most players named in the squad, with five each.

The selection committee – chaired by SANFL Now Commentator Phil Aspinall – has named several possible debutants for Saturday’s clash, including Glenelg’s Isla Wiencke and North’s Ella Metcalfe.

To be coached by Eagles’ coach Narelle Smith, the Croweaters are looking to make it three wins in a row against the Sandgropers, previously defeating them by eight points at Adelaide Oval in 2025 and 16 points in 2024 at Optus Stadium.

After a stellar start to the 2026 season, West Adelaide’s Zoe Venning headlines the squad, with Central District having four players named in Laitiah Huynh, Lauren Breguet, Dakota Williams and Georgia Madigan.

Sturt captain Alex Ballard and key forward Georgia King have also been named, with Norwood’s Jade Halfpenny, Coby Morgan and Emily Bartsch also chosen.

South Australia will take on WA from 2:10pm (12:40pm AWST) at Sullivan Logistics Stadium, Perth.

The 2026 SANFLW v WAFLW State Game will be streamed on SANFL Now.
