Team News SANFLW Round 3 – South Adelaide VS Norwood

NORWOOD could welcome back the ever-reliable Cassie Tsoumbris for Saturday’s clash win reigning Premiers South Adelaide at Flinders University Stadium.

Tsoumbris has missed the first three games, however, will look to return to bolster Norwood’s defensive stocks come Saturday evening.

Along with the addition of Tsoumbris, Michele Reid has overcome illness to return to the starting 22, while Norwood could also welcome back Ella Murison who missed last weekend due to injury.

Small forward Jiarna Zerella has also been named in the extended squad of 25 for the first time this season.

Zerella is sure to add some more pace within Norwood’s front half in order to worry South Adelaide’s back six.

The Redlegs, however, will be without winger Ellen D’Alessandro along with Georgia Avery, Chloe Myers and Kirsten Mosey.

After recording their first win of 2020 last weekend, the Redlegs will have their work cut out facing the Panthers who have only lost to Norwood once in their past six encounters.

The game will be broadcast live on SANFL Digital Pass from 6.45pm.
