Norwood travel out to Elizabeth on Saturday afternoon for its Round 8 clash with Central District.
The Redlegs will be hoping to snap its winless streak in 2023 with a victory over the sixth placed Bulldogs.
Central has a win-loss record of 3-4, and are coming off a Round 7 loss to Glenelg, 6.8-44 to 8.5-53.
The Bulldogs led by eight points at half time, before the Tigers kicked five consecutive goals to open up a 22-point lead in the third term.
It was a similar story in Norwood’s Round 7 match, with the Redlegs leading the third placed Adelaide by five points at half time before the Crows ran away with the next six goals to take the ascendency. Adelaide eventually won by 24 points.
Norwood’s Nik Rokahr led the way with 25 disposals, seven tackles and six clearances in difficult conditions at Coopers Stadium.
Norwood has named an extended squad for Saturday’s game against the Bulldogs.
Jake Cresswell, Cory Stockdale, Izaak Twelftree, Thomas Graham, Luke Bogle and Liam Robinson have been named amongst the ins (extended bench).
The outs include Cameron Taheny with a knee injury that he sustained during the Round 7 game against the Crows.
If selected Cresswell and Twelftree would be making their SANFL debuts.
