It will be the Redlegs third game in four weeks that they takes on a top three side, in what’s been a tough stretch. But, this far its returned a solid 25-point win over the second placed South Adelaide, and a draw against the top of the table Glenelg last Saturday.
This Saturday evening the task is the third placed Bulldogs.
It’s another important match for the Redlegs, who are striving for a top four finish.
Norwood currently sits in fourth spot, but just one premiership point ahead of West Adelaide given last week’s tie. The second and third placed Panthers and Bulldogs are three premiership points ahead of the Redlegs with four minor rounds to go.
It’s an interesting weekend of football in the SANFLW League with the results potentially having a major impact on the final ladder.
It’s the third placed Bulldogs hosting the fourth placed Norwood, the second placed South hosting the fifth placed Bloods, while the Eagles (sixth) and Sturt (seventh) do battle with the winner keeping its season alive.
Norwood has made a range of changes for the Round 11 clash, with forwards Amelia Rusden, Adrienne Davies and Mykaela Walker coming back into the side. Coby Morgan has also returned to the line up after being a late-out last week.
Emma Daley, Elle Lineage, Grace Mulvahil and Ailene Hiebner are out.
