Norwood’s SANFL Women’s side has been in outstanding form over the past two weeks, and hope to make it three consecutive victories this Saturday.
The Redlegs had a tough road trip in Round 1, going down to back to back reigning premiers South Adelaide in Noarlunga, but since then Ben Hunt’s side hasn’t put a foot wrong.
They held on to a close win in Round 2 against North Adelaide, and then backed it up last Saturday night with a brilliant performance to comfortably defeat Glenelg by 40 points at Coopers Stadium.
Now, the 2-1 Redlegs are off to X Convenience Oval to take on West Adelaide in Round 4, a side that sits 1-1-1 following a draw with Sturt last week.
Three games will be played in Elizabeth on Saturday as part of the League’s new Energised Round initiative, with the Redlegs V Bloods game kicking off from 1:10pm, following the North V Eagles game, and before the Dogs V Tigers match.
