Bastinac to depart Norwood

THE Norwood Football Club would like to advise its members and supporters that midfielder Ryan Bastinac has indicated that he will not be at the football club in 2021.

Bastinac, who played eight games in 2020, kicking five goals is currently based in Queensland and will not return to SANFL football next season.

The 29-year old has again settled in Brisbane with his partner and new job.

Bastinac spoke glowingly of the Norwood Football Club and thanked them for giving him the opportunity to play in arguably the hardest season ever in SANFL history.

“I just want to thank Norwood for giving me an opportunity to play with them in 2020,” said Bastinac.

“No doubt it’s been a tough year, but I am grateful for the people I have met throughout this period.

“I wish the Norwood Football Club all the best and look forward to watching them play in 2021.”

The Norwood Football Club thanks Ryan for his undivided commitment to the club and wishes him all the best for the future.
