2023 Torrens University SANFL U18 and U16 Fixture Release

The SANFL has released the 2023 Torrens University SANFL U18 and U16 fixtures.

Norwood’s U18 and U16 sides will kickstart the 2023 campaign against South Adelaide in Noarlunga on Sunday, March 26.

Both the U18s and U16s will play full 18-round seasons, with the finals series to commence on the weekend of September 2 and the Grand Final to be held at the Adelaide Oval on September 17.

The Redlegs will play Sturt at Wigan Oval (Unley) on Good Friday, and host a Friday night match against South Adelaide at Coopers Stadium on June 9.

Both Leagues will have a bye on the weekends of June 17 and 24 for the U18 AFL National Championships, and August 26 to account for Inter Col Matches.

All four Round 16 games in both the Torrens University SANFL U18s and U16s will be played on Wednesday August 2, with the U16s kicking off at 5pm ahead of the U18s at 7.15pm.

“We have been working closely with the schools so that we can maximise the amount of appearances players can make in both SANFL and school football competitions,” SANFL Head of Football Operations Sean Toohey said.

“A bye round on Saturday August 26 for Inter Col weekend is another example of this as well as a double bye on the weekends of Saturday June 17 and Saturday June 24 for the U18 AFL National Championships.”
