Norwood can reveal that ruckman Henry Crauford will pursue an AFL opportunity in 2020.
Crauford has informed the club that he has been offered the chance to play football with Essendon in season 2020.
The 22-year-old arrived at Norwood at the end of 2018 and featured for the Redlegs Reserve team playing 19 games and kicking 10 goals.
Crauford was also awarded the Reserves 2019 Best and Fairest.
“Whilst we are delighted for Henry and any of our players to progress to the AFL level our Club is bitterly opposed to the preseason supplementary and mid-season drafts,” said club CEO James Fantasia.
