Round One Revealed: Legs to face Bays at ACH Group Stadium

The opening round of the 2022 home and away season will see the Norwood Football Club take on Glenelg at ACH Group Stadium.

Details of the Round one fixture were released on Wednesday night with the Redlegs set to kick off their season against the Bays in a Saturday afternoon blockbuster on April 2.

The last time the two teams met to kick off their seasons was Round 1 2020, which saw the Tigers defeat the Redlegs by three points at Adelaide Oval.

The 2022 season opener for the Redlegs, scheduled for 3.10 pm kick-off will be a key feature of the highly anticipated first round of the 2022 SANFL season.

The Redlegs fought tough against Glenelg in 2021, however fell to the Tigers narrowly on both occasions.

The Redlegs will play away from Coopers Stadium for the first time since 2010 when they faced the same opponents Glenelg at The Bay.

The full home and away fixture is due to be released on February 10.
