Round One revealed: Redlegs to host North at Coopers Stadium

The opening round of the 2020 home and away season will see the Norwood Football Club take on North Adelaide at Coopers Stadium.

Details of the Round 1 fixture were released on Friday afternoon with the Redlegs set to kick off their season against the Roosters in a Friday night blockbuster on April 3.

The last time the two teams met to kick off their seasons was Round 1 2017, which saw the Redlegs defeat the Roosters by 22-points at the Parade.

Next year’s season opener for the Redlegs, scheduled for 7.40pm on Friday, will be a key feature of the highly anticipated first round of the 2020 SANFL season.

Star Dom Barry is set to play his 50th SANFL game against the Roosters.

The full home and away fixture is due to be released on December 16.

Glenelg v Sturt at ACH Group Stadium, 7:40pm

South Adelaide v Adelaide at Flinders University Stadium, 1.10pm
Eagles v Centrals Maughan Thiem Kia Oval, 2.10pm
