Fixture Release

The 2021 SANFLW Statewide Super fixture has been announced

The 2021 SANFLW fixture will provide Norwood members and supporters the chance to watch the women with six matches at Coopers Stadium.

Round 1 will begin on February 26 against West Adelaide in Friday night footy at the Parade.

However, all eyes will be on the Round 3 match where the Redlegs will host the Double Blues in the South Eastern Derby.

Norwood will face West Adelaide, South Adelaide, North Adelaide, and the Eagles twice in the 11-round home and away season.

In the final round of the season, Norwood will travel to ACH Group Stadium to face the Eagles on Saturday, May 15 at 10.30 am.

From there, the top two sides and the sides who finish 3rd and 4th will play off in two semi-finals before playing a Preliminary Final and Grand Final.

The Grand Final will take place on the weekend of Saturday, June 5.

CEO James Fantasia said he was pleased to see the women’s competition back in full flight.

“After an interrupted season last year, it’s fantastic to see the competition back raring to go for 2021,” said Fantasia.

“Our women have been training hard under our new head coach Mat Creeper and are eager as ever to showcase their work in front of our members and supporters.

“It’s pleasing to see our women return to Coopers Stadium for six home games and hope we can turn Coopers Stadium into a fortress during the 2021 season.

“We welcome the 2021 fixture and look forward to seeing our women in action this year.”
