Coopers Stadium to host League’s first “Energised Round”

Norwood will host Glenelg, as well as every other SANFL Women’s side, in this weekend’s “Energised Round” – a League first where all four games will be hosted at one venue on the same day.

The Energised Round will be held five times this season, at Norwood, Unley, Glenelg, Richmond and Prospect ovals, with the first to be held at Coopers Stadium this Saturday.

The Redlegs V Tigers game will kick off at 5pm, closing out the day, which begins with Central District V WWT at 10:30am, followed by North V South at 12:40pm and West V Sturt at 2:50pm.

Norwood – and specifically new coach Ben Hunt – would have been relieved to get a first win on the board last week, defeating the Roosters by two points on Anzac Day.

The Bays are still looking for a first win, following close losses against West Adelaide and Sturt.

Norwood will be without the ever-reliable Lana Schwerdt with a hamstring injury, while Sophie Arkun, Isabella Calvanese, Taylor Hand and Mykaela Walker come into an extended line-up.
