Team Selection – Trial Match 1

NORWOOD has named a squad of 26 to face Payneham tomorrow night at Coopers Stadium.

In what will be Norwood’s first competitive hit-out against opposition, Coach Jarrod Cotton has opted to field a rather younger squad, however, has included a couple of senior players to face the Falcons at the Parade.

New recruit from South Adelaide Emmanuel Irra and former Geelong VFL midfielder Nik Rokahr have both been named in the squad, while exciting pair Dom Barry and Anthony Wilson will also feature for the Redlegs.

Key forward/ruck Codey Ellison will also play after arriving the Parade in the off-season.

Ellison is likely to shoulder the majority of the ruck duties whilst also playing up forward.

Impressive youngster Josh Richards will also take the field along with Cody Szust and Cam Ball.

Jarrod Cotton will also unveil basketball duo Brad Ficken and Sam Johns tomorrow evening in what will be their first competitive hit-out for the pre-season.

The Redlegs will face the Falcons at Coopers Stadium on Friday night with the first bounce at 6.45pm.
