2013 Premiership stars visit former President Joe Tripodi

2013 Norwood Premiership Players dropped in to visit long-time supporter, sponsor, patron and former player, president and chairman Joe Tripodi this morning, thanking Joe for his contribution to the club over the last 60-plus years.

Joe has been battling ill-health but loved to see the former stars of the Norwood Football Club, while they were in town for their 10-year Premiership reunion.

Premiership players Sam Baulderstone, Kieran McGuinness, Matthew Suckling, Darren Pfeiffer, and Brett Zorzi, as well as former Norwood CEO Geoff Baynes and current Norwood CEO James Fantasia visited Joe and his family this morning with the 2013 replica Premiership Cup and Premiership Flag.

For over half a century, current Club Patron, Joe Tripodi has been involved with the Norwood Football Club, first as a player then a committee member, board member, sponsor, president & chairman.

His unwavering commitment and passion for the club since his playing days in the late 1950’s, is extraordinary.

Joe has been instrumental in ensuring the off-field aspects of the football club remain as strong as possible – he has been incredibly generous to the club and the individuals involved.
