Hostplus SANFL League Fixture Release – Rounds 7 to 10

The full fixture for Rounds 7 to 10 of the Hostplus SANFL League have been released, with the Russell Ebert Tribute Match set to be a standalone blockbuster at Loxton Oval on Sunday May 22.

West Adelaide will host Port Adelaide from 2.10pm in the only League match scheduled for the afternoon, with the highly anticipated Round 7 contest to be telecast live on Channel 7.

Two matches will be played in the 7.40pm timeslot on Friday May 20 – Eagles hosting Adelaide and Norwood hosting Central –  with the remaining two games – Glenelg tackling South and North playing Sturt – scheduled for 2.10pm on Saturday May 21.

In Round 8, four matches will be played on the afternoon of Saturday May 28 while Norwood and Adelaide will feature at 7.40pm on Friday May 27.

Two matches will be played on the afternoon of Saturday June 4 to kick off Round 9, while the Sturt v Adelaide clash – to be played as an AFL curtain-raiser at Adelaide Oval – will be confirmed once the AFL fixture has been finalised. The Eagles will host South Adelaide on Sunday, June 5.

Four clubs will have the bye in Round 10, with Glenelg (against Sturt) and South (against North) poised to host blockbusters on the Queen’s Birthday public holiday of Monday June 13.

Of the 15 matches across these four rounds, eight matches were already locked in at the start of the year.
