Jackson Callow to return to Norwood

THE Norwood Football Club would like to advise its members and supporters that off-season recruit and key forward Jackson Callow will return to the Parade after a month trial with the Hawthorn Football Club.

Callow will return to training this week with firm intentions of cementing a starting spot in Norwood’s best 22.

The strong bodied forward will prove to be a focal point within the Redlegs forward 50, with his ability to take plenty of contested marks each game along with being a strong kick for goal.

Norwood’s Football Services Manager Rob Harding said that although disappointed for Jackson and his AFL aspirations, the club could not be happier welcoming a true professional back to the football club for season 2021.

“As a club, we couldn’t be more excited for Jackson returning to Norwood in 2021,” said Harding.

“Although we are disappointed for Jackson, the coaches, players, staff, and supporters welcome him back with open arms.

“Jackson is a fantastic and exciting player and will no doubt complement our side this season with his presence and goalkicking ability.

“We as a club look forward to Jackson re-joining the training group this week, with intentions of him having a strong year with the Norwood Football Club.”
