SANFLW Teams Round 9

Norwood will take on Central District in a must win SANFLW clash at Coopers Stadium on Saturday.

The Redlegs will be wearing a First Nations Round guernsey over the next two matches against the Bulldogs and West Adelaide, inspired by the club’s Regional Zone of the Eyre Peninsula – click here for full story.

Norwood’s SANFLW side will be coached by Alison Ferrall for the first time, after head coach Brad Ferrall stepped down earlier this week.

The Redlegs have made three changes for the Round 9 Centrals clash, with Georgie Jaques, Charli Hazelhurst and Elke Cameron returning to the side.

Co-captain Sophie Armitstead and Jazmine Egan make way, while Emily Bartsch is out with a shoulder injury.

With just two wins next to their name in 2025, and coming off a 50-point defeat against the ladder leading Eagles, Norwood will be desperate for a win on Saturday to stay in touch with the top four.

Centrals will also be out for revenge after narrowly going down to the bottom placed Glenelg in a thriller last Saturday, 7.7-49 to 6.10-46.
