Baynen Lowe will return to the line-up for Round 7.
Norwood will return to Coopers Stadium for the first time since Round 3, to host Central District in First Nations Round tomorrow night.
Since the Round 3 Easter Thursday loss to Sturt, Norwood has been on the road with an Anzac Day trip to Glenelg, followed by the annual Regional Zone game in Port Lincoln against the Crows and then the Round 6 win over South in Noarlunga.
Fresh off a bye, Norwood is ready to take on the second-placed Bulldogs on Friday night.
The Redlegs will be wearing a First Nations Round guernsey over the next two matches against the Bulldogs and West Adelaide, inspired by the club’s Regional Zone of the Eyre Peninsula – click here for full story.
Norwood has made two forced changes to the side that defeated South Adelaide in Round 6, with Mitch O’Neill missing with an ankle injury, and Jacob Newton out with a quad injury.
The good news is that Baynen Lowe returns to the line up for the first time in 2025 after overcoming a shoulder injury sustained during the pre-season.
Heading into the midfield in 2024, Lowe enjoyed a break-out season averaging 21 disposals, six tackles, four clearances and one goal a game. He’s a welcome addition to the team, while Max Hodges, Liam Ling, Oliver Sanders and Isaac Saywell are also listed in the extended 25-man squad.
Luke Surman will return from his ankle injury through the Reserves tomorrow night.
The Redlegs had a good 12.9-81 to 7.9-51 win over South Adelaide in Round 6. It was their first victory of the 2025 campaign, but the Redlegs jumped from 10th to seventh place on the ladder.
The Bulldogs had a convincing win over West Adelaide 18.9-117 to 9.7-61 to take their win-loss tally to 5-1, and will be a tough opponent tomorrow night.
