Team Selection – Trial Match 2

Norwood will have their second competitive hit out of 2020 when they take on the Bloods in Friday night’s trial. 

This will be a great opportunity for Norwood supporters to see new recruits in Richard Douglas, Emmanuel Irra, Nik Rokahr and Codey Ellison in action for the first time in the red and blue.

Meanwhile, some older players return for their first competitive hit-out of the year, including newly-appointed skipper Matthew Panos, Dual Magarey Medallist Mitch Grigg and Best and Fairest Winner Brad McKenzie.

Midfielder Matthew Nunn will also play as well as Lewis Johnston and Cameron Shenton.

As well as the return of key senior personnel, hardman Will Abbott will also feature in the Reserves after missing majority of the 2019 season.

Abbott will look to gain some more match minutes in preparation for Norwood’s second trial next weekend against Centrals.

The trials get underway from 5:00pm on Friday night.
