Norwood has named a squad of 23 for Sunday’s season opener against reigning Premiers Glenelg.
The Redlegs are set to blood up to five debutants including former Adelaide Crow Richard Douglas and South Adelaide running midfielder Emmanuel Irra.
Tom Pinyon, Codey Ellison and Nik Rokahr are also a chance to make their debuts for Norwood after impressing Coach Jarrod Cotton in the off-season.
The Redlegs will also welcome Nick Pedro into the side after a lengthy lay off with injury. Pedro didn’t register a senior game in 2019, however, is set to light up Adelaide Oval with his pace off half-back.

Matthew Panos will also lead the Redlegs out for the first time as Captain of the Norwood Football Club.
In injury news defender Michael Talia will miss a week with a slight hamstring strain but is expected to be available for selection next weekend.
Speedster Anthony Wilson is listed as 1-2 weeks with a calf injury, while tough defender Mac Bower is 2-3 weeks away with a back injury.
Off-season recruit Ryan Bastinac will feature for the Reserves on Saturday as he looks to build some game time minutes, whilst tough midfielder Will Abbott will also gain some much-needed game time as he returns from the serious knee injury he sustained in 2019.
The first bounce is scheduled for 3.05pm. For those fans who are unable to attend the match; it will be broadcast live on Channel 7 Adelaide and SANFL Digital Pass.
Norwood’s Reserves will be in action on Saturday morning at 11:30pm at ACH Group Stadium, while the Under 18s will follow the Reserves at 2:10pm.
