NORWOOD has made four changes to its side to face ladder leaders North Adelaide on Saturday morning.
The Redlegs are coming off back-to-back wins, however, will have a challenge on their hands against the reigning Premiers in two days’ time.
Coach Mat Creeper has recalled promising youngster Alana Lishmund after she missed last weekend’s clash serving a one match ban for striking. The 17-year-old will bring no doubt bring pace to Norwood’s front half as she looks to again cement herself in the side.
After being ruled out for a year, forward Rosetta Zerella has been named to face the Roosters on Saturday morning. Zerella, suffered an ACL injury against South Adelaide in 2020 and will provide another target for Norwood going forward.
Ruck, Georgia Avery is set to make her first appearance for Norwood in 2021 as she is named in defence, while Creeper will unveil yet another debutant in the way of Eyre Peninsula product, Sachi Syme.
Syme, who was born in Wudinna started playing football at the age of 13 and can play a variety of positions including forward pocket, centre half forward and a sweeper position.
The 17-year-old joins speedster Lana Schwerdt and Charlotte Nenke as the most recent debutant for the Redlegs.
Veteran forward Kate Fenton, Jiarna Zerella and Sarah Branford have all been omitted, while Isabel Martin is sidelined after suffering a foot injury.
Norwood will be chasing their third win in a row when they face the Roosters on Saturday morning at the Parade.
