NORWOOD has named a 23-man squad to face the Eagles on Saturday afternoon at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval.
Gun midfielder Matthew Panos returns to the squad after overcoming the flu, while up and coming star Cameron Taheny, tough defender Mac Bower, small forward Cody Szust and on-baller Josh Richards have all been named.
Panos has had a terrific start to season 2019 with his ability to find plenty of the ball and hit the scoreboard at the same time. Bower could also prove to be a handy inclusion, after playing well in his last three League games.
Coming out of the squad that faced Adelaide a fortnight ago is hardman Will Abbott who has been sidelined for 6-8 weeks, Anthony Wilson who suffered a calf injury and speedster Matthew Nunn who hasn’t been able to overcome a hip injury sustained in Round Six.
The Redlegs could potentially name Richards who has been in good form in the Reserves averaging 23 disposals in his first six matches.
Szust could also be called upon to fill the void left by speedster Wilson, who performed strongly in the State Game last Sunday.
The Redlegs travel to Woodville on Saturday afternoon with the League getting underway at 2:10pm and Reserves beginning at 11:30am.
If you can’t make the game, it will be live streamed via the SANFL Digital Pass Here.
