NORWOOD has named a squad of 25 to face South Adelaide on Saturday afternoon at Coopers Stadium in this year’s Breakthrough Round.
After a disappointing loss to the Double Blues by 28-points last weekend, the Redlegs will be looking to bounce back in front of its home support at Coopers Stadium.
Midfielder Sam Morris has been recalled to the League squad after featuring for the Reserves last weekend. The 20-year-old collected 18 disposals and booted a goal in the loss against Sturt and remains a chance to return to the League team this weekend.
Duo Baynen Lowe and Jack Kelly have also been named on the extended bench to tackle the Panthers. Lowe, a late omission for Norwood’s trip to Port Lincoln, has missed the past fortnight due to entering H+S Protocols, while Kelly was impressive for the Reserves last week collecting 21 disposals. If Kelly is selected on Saturday, he will make his Norwood debut.
Dashing defender Ethan Warburton who was impressive against Port and West Adelaide has again been named in the squad of 25 for Saturday afternoon.
The 19-year-old had a team-high 19 disposals against Sturt last week, including six marks and eight rebound 50s.
The only out so far is dynamic forward Cam Taheny who has entered concussion protocols.
The Redlegs will name their squad of 22 on Friday afternoon.
