Team Selection – Legs name squad to face Double Blues

NORWOOD has named a squad of 25 to face Sturt on Sunday afternoon at Wigan Oval.

After dispatching West Adelaide by 68-points last weekend in Port Lincoln, the Redlegs travel to Unley with a point to prove.

The Legs are a chain to regain consistent defender Cam Ball after missing the trip to Port Lincoln last weekend.

Norwood has also named Tristan Binder off the back of four goals in the Reserves last Friday as well as inside midfielder, Mitch Cotter.

There were no fresh injury concerns out of the side last weekend, so there are no confirmed outs at this stage.

In better news for Norwood, the Reserves are set to be bolstered by the return of 2014 Jack Oatey Medallist, Matthew Panos.

The 28-year-old sustained an ACL injury against Central District in September of 2020 and has shown remarkable resilience to play his first game this weekend.

The Redlegs are set to trim the squad from 25 to 22 tomorrow afternoon.

Sunday’s clash with the Double Blues is live on SANFL Now with the action beginning at 2:10 pm.
