MATTHEW Nunn is officially back for the Redlegs after being named in Norwood’s side to play Woodville West-Torrens on Sunday afternoon from 3:15pm.
Nunn will play his first SANFL game since Round 14 and is excited to be back for the Redlegs huge qualifying final at Adelaide Oval.
After what was a severe hamstring sustained at Alberton in late June, Norwood’s Captain has worked extremely hard with rehab which has given him the chance for a tilt at Premiership glory this September.
The Redlegs have also named speedster Nick Pedro and clever defender Isaac Saywell on the extended bench after overcoming respective injuries.
Pedro suffered a cork against the Roosters a fortnight ago and missed last weekends clash against the Crows, while Say well suffered a foot injury in the lead up the Redlegs Round 16 clash with Glenelg.
The Redlegs have also been given approval from the SANFL to wear it’s Fortis in Procella jumper for this weekend’s Qualifying Final against Woodville West-Torrens.
“From the clubs side of it, it’s such a great way for us to acknowledge our great supporters.
“Everything they have done for our football club, it means everything to our playing group having all these names on this jumper and we look forward to wearing it with pride again this week.”
